Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the academic quality and integrity of the Journal of Science and Research (JSR). Each manuscript submitted to JSR undergoes a double-blind peer-review process, and reviewers are expected to uphold professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
Specifically, reviewers are expected to:
1. Provide Objective Assessments
- Deliver impartial and professional evaluations of the manuscript’s academic contribution, relevance, and rigor.
- Avoid any personal bias or conflict of interest that might influence the review process.
2. Evaluate Key Aspects of the Manuscript
- Originality: Assess whether the manuscript presents novel insights or adds significant value to the multidisciplinary fields.
- Methodology: Examine the appropriateness, accuracy, and validity of the research design and data analysis.
- Clarity of Argument: Evaluate the logical flow, coherence, and clarity in presenting ideas.
- Significance of Findings: Consider the contribution of the results to theory and practice.
3. Maintain Confidentiality
- Treat the manuscript and all related materials as strictly confidential.
- Refrain from discussing, sharing, or using the content for personal benefit or external purposes.
4. Provide Constructive Feedback
- Offer clear, specific, and constructive comments to help authors improve their work.
- Ensure feedback is respectful, scholarly, and professional.
5. Make Recommendations
Provide one of the following decisions, supported by appropriate justification:
- Accept: Suitable for publication as submitted.
- Minor Revision: Requires small changes before acceptance.
- Major Revision: Requires substantial revision and re-evaluation.
- Reject: Does not meet the standards for publication in JSR.
By following these guidelines, reviewers contribute to ensuring that Journal of Science and Research (JSR) remains a credible, respected, and high-quality academic journal.
