Author Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Science and Research (JSR) are expected to comply with the following writing requirements to ensure consistency, clarity, and academic quality:
1. Manuscript Format
- Manuscripts should be typed using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The length of the manuscript is between 5,000–7,000 words, excluding references and appendices.
- Text must be written using Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Standard margins: 2.5 cm (top, bottom, left, right).
- Tables, figures, and appendices must be numbered consecutively and placed close to their point of reference.
2. Article Structure
Manuscripts should follow the structure below:
- Title: Concise (max 15 words), sentence case.
- Abstract: Indonesian and English (150–250 words each).
- Keywords: 3–5 keywords, alphabetical order, separated by commas.
- Introduction: Background, problem, objectives, and significance.
- Methods: Design, participants/data, instruments, and procedures.
- Results and Discussion: Clear findings and theoretical implications.
- Conclusion: Summary and recommendations.
- Acknowledgements: (Optional) Institutional or funding support.
- References: APA Style 7th Edition.
3. Citation Style
- CJSR adopts the APA (American Psychological Association) Style, latest edition.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference managers: Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
4. Language
- Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- English manuscripts should ideally undergo professional language proofreading.
5. Originality
- Manuscripts must be original and not currently under review elsewhere.
- Similarity index must be maximum 20% via plagiarism detection software.
Authors are responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of their manuscripts.
